I've been working as a Data Analysis teacher, delivering lessons and researching for the past six years. My passion is making data make sense, in real terms and converting figures into something that can be easily accessible to everyone, regardless of their knowledge of data.
I am experienced in Python, Excel and have understanding of most up to date software. As data analysis programmes are ever changing it means learning new skills all the time, which keeps it exciting.
I will be leading the one to one sessions, weekly with each of the learners and will be available for support on the course.
One to ones will be delivered via the SpatialChat group, which you'll be invited to join, and can access at anytime throughout the course, allowing you to meet up with the other learners.
As part of my varied career, I have worked as both data analyst and data services manager. I enjoy getting my hands dirty in the data and I relish helping people to learn something which will help them in their work and their life.
I like to tailor learning to the learners and I hope I can inspire you to really think about what it means to be a data analyst in different organisations, large and small as well as the many different sectors.
I look forward to hearing your questions, thoughts and ideas!
